The international project "KDE BUDU DOMA" was created with the support of the European Union, within the framework of the Erasmus + program. This project runs from 2016 and lasts until 2018. It is attended by two grammar schools. One in Slovakia and the other in the Czech Republic. Twenty students were actively involved in the project. Ten students from Slovakia, specifically Janka Jesenského Grammar School, and ten students from the Czech Republic, from the Strakonice Grammar School.
The output is a methodology that allows schools to get feedback from their graduates on how they were doing at universities, how they used the knowledge obtained at grammar school in their life and whether they plan to return to the region where they were born. The results obtained by both schools will then be compared. The final goal is to create a brochure describing the methodology and the results obtained, as well as the feedback received during the implementation of the project. The final version of the brochure was created in four EU languages - in Czech, Slovak, German and English.
The motivation of the project is to get acquainted with the quality of the teaching system at the Strakonice Gymnasium and the Janka Jesenského Gymnasium, as well as to find out how graduates have applied to the labor market.
